Understanding Vitamin B12 Injections
Our bodies require a variety of vitamins and minerals for optimal health. Vitamin B12 plays a crucial role in energy production, red blood cell formation, and nervous system function. Unfortunately, factors like diet, age, and digestive issues can hinder our natural B12 absorption.
Symptoms of Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Vitamin B12 deficiency can manifest in various ways, including:
Fatigue and tiredness
Lethargy and weakness
Difficulty concentrating
Hair loss
Numbness or tingling (pins and needles)
Mouth ulcers
Mood changes

Vitamin B12 Injections: Replenishing Essential Energy for Overall Wellbeing
Knowing Kay was a qualified nurse put me at ease when getting my semi-permanent eyeliner done. She took time to explain the process and aftercare and her salon was spotless without being clinical. I was so impressed by the results that i booked in to get a lash lift and tint too. My morning routine is now so much quicker!

I have the Vitamin B12 injections, I heard good things about the treatment so gave it a try and I’m glad I did. Doing a manual job in all weathers can be tiring but this has definitely given me a boost, more energy it’s great. Kay knows her stuff, I went to her as she’s a nurse. She’s very professional and friendly. Wouldn’t go to anyone else now

Frequently asked questions
What are your opening times?
We are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm.
How quickly do vitamin B12 injections work?
Vitamin B12 injections work quickly and you should start to notice a difference within 48-72 hours as this is when your body will start to make new red blood cells. Dependant on your deficiency will determine how many doses you will need to notice a peak impact.
How often should I get vitamin B12 injections to see the best results?
A Vitamin B12 injection has a more positive effect when administered regularly over a 3–6 month period. It is recommended that you receive about six injections to build up your body’s store of B12.
After receiving B12 injections, how often do I need them to maintain healthy levels?
Your body’s vitamin B12 store can then last for several months. It is normal to administer 3 monthly injections to replenish your vitamin B12 levels.
If your symptoms do return prior to the end of the 3-month period, then you may have to be given another injection sooner than planned. This is a rare occurrence. We may suggest some further blood tests with your GP. This very much depends on your clinical symptoms.
Where is a vitamin B12 injection given and how painful is it?
The injection is normally given intramuscularly (IM) into the upper arm, pain is minimal, you sometimes feel slight stinging immediately after which normally goes minutes after.
Are there any side effects?
You may get some pain, redness or itching around the injection site which can happen with many injections, if you do get this it normally settles down within a couple of days. You may also get some mild diarrhoea or nausea. Further potential side effects which are uncommon will be discussed in detail at your consultation. If you experience any side effects, please contact myself or your GP for further guidance.
What does the appointment process for vitamin B12 injections involve?
A full holistic assessment will be carried out prior to your treatment, further information is given before treatment and aftercare is also discussed.
How much does a B12 injection cost?
A single B12 injection costs £30.
